![]() ![]() Overall: If you're looking for a fun place to enjoy some drinks, food, laughter with your family and friends, this is the place to be.īonus Tip: They allow you to bring your dog to enjoy your meal out on their patio. That is NOT OKAY and I am not telling people to go and do that. Now that is customer service! This doesn't mean that customers should order something, eat half of it and let the staff know they didn't like it. He said if I didn't like their PB&J Burger, they would make something different for me to enjoy. The manager came by to provide assistance and he was very helpful. Staff: They are friendly and very helpful. LazyDog also has a great beer club membership for all you beer connoisseurs. They have a wonderful 6 beer flight of their house tastings. Both were AWESOME as well.ĭrink: Beer was on point. We also had their Chicken Lettuce Wrap & Black Bean Jackfruit Tostada. LazyDog has set the bar for PB&J Burgers whenever I crave for one. If you've never had a PB&J Burger, definitely make sure your first experience is at LazyDog. ![]() I was curious about their PB&J Burger, but also hesitant to try it. They strive make sure every customer is satisfied with the item they ordered. Yes, they are very popular and the food IS that GOOD, so don't get mad at the restaurant for waiting. I must warn you, they do get busy in the evening, so expect a wait if you didn't make reservations at least one day in advance (NO SAME DAY reservations allowed). Inside: When you first walk in, you're immediately greeted by a team member at the host stand. They have an Awesome outside patio with a HUGE fire pit. Outside: The location looks awesome from the outside. ![]() The patio in the summer will definitely be a highlight, and I do believe it's still a nice addition to the area! I really liked the vibe of this restaurant, but if I ever were to come back it would probably be just for cocktails and maybe try some other appetizers. I think maybe if they focused their menu more they would be able to offer a curated selection that would perhaps taste a lot better. But the flavoring wasn't anything too exciting. I ordered the bison burger, and the meat was cooked to my specifications. The hush puppies were fairly bland, and the buffalo cauliflower barely had any buffalo sauce on it. I also ordered a rose sangria that was very refreshing.Įverything sounded delicious, but unfortunately the food itself was just ok. We settled on ordering burgers, and 2 appetizers. The menu is quite extensive, and has a little something for everyone from comfort food to healthier options. Our server was very attentive and friendly. The restaurant was fairly busy with patrons, but we were seated immediately. We met friends for lunch here while we were in town. They have a large dog friendly patio, which is awesome for the summer. It had a great rustic/country vibe to it with lots of exposed wood. I absolutely love all the new dining and shopping additions to the Vernon Hills area! Really great to have so many new options! Before moving to Alaska we lived in this area. ![]()
